The discipline International Communication of Chinese Culture is established on the basis of the synthesized academic ability of the faculty. During this multi-cultural and lingual era, cross-cultural communication has become so important that the international communication of Chinese culture becomes a significant way to enhance the soft power of our country. In the globalized new time, it is not enough for us to own and inherit our cultural tradition. We are urged to interpret and promote our tradition and culture in new perspectives. Any tradition that is not understood cannot become a real spiritual power. Therefore, the creative interpretation and international communication of Chinese cultural tradition must be a key issue. The newly establishedinterdiscipline needs to integrate the communication history of Chinese culture, discuss the nature of the Chinese traditional culture and study its properties, as well as the strategy and approaches of the international communication of Chineseculture.
