Steven Tötösy de Zepetnek’s (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.18842375) research, teaching, and publications are in comparative literature, comparative cultural studies, and media and communication studies. His specific expertise includes postcolonial studies, (im)migration and ethnic minority studies, digital humanities, readership and audience studies, online course design, print and digital publishing, and history (genealogy and heraldry). He is currently Professor at Sichuan University (2024-2029). From 1984 to 2016, he held faculty positions at the University of Alberta, Purdue University, the University of Halle-Wittenberg, and Northeastern University. His publications include 6 single-authored books, 280 articles, bibliographies, and book reviews including 35 edited volumes and guest-edited journal issues.

From 1998 to 2016, he was the founding editor of  CLCWeb: Comparative Literature and Culture (A&HCI indexed) and editor of a monograph series at Purdue University. His work has been translated into Chinese, French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Mahrati, Polish, Portuguese, and Spanish.
